Gerard Lobrecht of Killeen, Texas compiled a complete
Genealogy of his family. Gerard would be 91 years old as of 2008, but I
am not sure if he is still living. I believe he completed this document
in 1996. Gerard's mother was Emma Amalia von
Toerne. Part III of his genealogy report includes the Toerne
lineage. Of particular concern to this branch of the Toerne family can
be found on page 5 of the report and titled "Gen. III:
Grandparents." You will notice that Emma's youngest brother was
Theodore Toerne who is the grandfather and great-grandfather to many of us.

I added Grandpa Ted's obit from
Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Fort Wayne Indiana. We should all
aspire to be as giving as Grandpa Ted was. Please notice the entire
bulletin as this was written in 1964 with the style and technology with the
time.
